Mr. Hagan Yenube Damparu is the Chief Finance Officer of Akara Energy Ltd. His responsibilities included the provision of leadership and strategic direction of the Finance Department, the overall finance functions including risk management, treasury management, the institution of adequate internal controls, budgeting amongst others.
Before his appointment at Akara Energy Ltd, Mr. Hagan worked as a warehouse manager for Araba Afram Enterprise, a Unilever Ghana Key Distributor and later became the Accounts Manager for the Enterprise.
He is a final level student of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana and a holder of BSc. Accounting from Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). He also holds a Higher National Diploma in Accounting from Sunyani Technical University.
Prior to joining Araba Afram Enterprise, Hagan undertook several projects at the Ghana Statistical Service both as a field officer and as a supervisor.
He is married with a child and enjoys watching football.
